CALENDAR REMINDERS FOR CLUB SECRETARIES. WHAT TO DO AND WHEN 2010/11

1st August Last day for Benevolent Fund donations (cheques payable to SCWBA Benvolent Fund) from clubs for recording in the 2011 Year Book. To be sent to the Benevolent Fund Secretary, Mrs Jennifer Cryer, 22 Pine Wood, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, TW16 6SG.

Financial & Affiliation Form A, Competitions Entry Form B, Patrons Form C, List of
affiliated members, Year Book Entry Form,Officer's Cup Entry Form, Champion of
Champions' Entry Form, Bowls England Benevolent Triples Competition Entry Form and provisional 2011 Calendar sent by post to club Secretaries. All forms, to be returned to Secretary by 31st October 2010. Order forms for tickets for S.C.W.B.A.'s Dinner and Prizegiving on Friday, 29th October 2010 will also be sent at this time; to be returned by the October Council. All cheques should be made payable to Surrey County Womens' Bowling Association.

1st October Last day for nominations and propositions for the 2010 Surrey A.G.M to reach the Secretary.

12th October (Tuesday) at 1.00 p.m ., Council Meeting at the Wimbledon Community Centre. Last opportunity to purchase Surrey and Bowls England Dinner and Prizegiving tickets. Raffle tickets for Surrey Dinner on sale.

29th October (Friday) at 6.15 p.m. for 7.00 p.m . Surrey Dinner and Prizegiving - to be attended by ALL prizewinners (semi-finalists upwards except the Bowls England Benevolent Triples competition - finalists only).

31st October. Last day for requests for Christmas parcels to Benevolent Secretary.

31st October. Last day for ALL forms except the Surrey Dinner Ticket order form, and competition entries, sent in September, to reach Secretary. ONE Cheque to cover all affiliations and entry fees etc., made payable to S.C.W.B.A.

23rd November (Tuesday) at 1.15 p.m. Surrey Annual General Meeting to be held at Leatherhead Leisure Centre, Guildford Road, Leatherhead KT22 9BL. Two voting delegates per club. Refreshments and parking available.

7th December (Tuesday) at 1.00 p.m. Council Meeting at the Wimbledon Community Centre. Benevolent Fund Christmas parcels MUST be collected. Stamped (2nd Class) addressed envelopes for December Minutes if required before April to Assistant Secretary.

31st December Last day for Loyal Service nominations to reach the County Secretary for consideration for presentation in 2011.

County Match request Form 1 to be returned to Match Secretary by date given on form.

April 2011 Council Meeting at Wimbledon Community Centre. S.C.W.B.A. And Bowls England Year Books MUST be collected. Date and Time to be arranged. No books will be posted. Stamped (1st Class) addressed envelopes or email details for Finals Day Programme and stamped (2nd Class) addressed envelopes for April Minutes if required before October to Assistant Secretary. Application forms for Inter-Zone County games and all Patron' events; Invitations (where appropriate) to President's Day will be distributed.

N.B. All Council Meetings are held at the Wimbledon Community Centre, St Georges Road, Wimbledon. Telephone (020) 8946 0536. Parking is available in Multi-storey car parks opposite the Centre or in the Shopping Centre by Wimbledon Station which is a 5 minutes walk from the Community Centre.
